01 · About me

Short story first, then the long one.

I am a Senior Software Engineer based in Asturias, Spain. Over six years building critical production systems for public administrations — RTVE, Ministry of Labour, and the Regional Governments of Catalonia & Valencia. Backend rigor, multi-stack fluency, and a builder mindset.

Currently, I develop the FSE+ platform for the Ministry of Labour at LAUDE Tech. My day-to-day involves Java 17, Spring Boot, Angular 19, and dockerized microservices with Kafka. This is an enterprise system I have maintained across three distinct companies — Inetum, Indra, and now LAUDE.

I don't limit myself to a single framework or stack. I have worked extensively with Spring Boot, Quarkus, Angular, React, Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. My core architectural question is always: what architecture does this specific problem actually require? My structural constant is a heavy bias toward solid backends and clean codebases.

At Indra, I implemented an event-driven architecture utilizing Apache Kafka and Quarkus to process healthcare population screening data for the Valencian Community, alongside microservices with MongoDB for the Government of Catalonia. At Inetum, I was the sole engineering owner of RTVE's rights management system, where I led the codebase migration from legacy JSP/jQuery to Angular.

Outside my corporate schedule, I operate with an independent builder mindset. I craft my own software tools — Alza (an investment portfolio tracker using React and Supabase) and HealthLife (a meal planner using Next.js and the Claude API) — to solve real-world challenges, prioritizing bleeding-edge technical stacks and construction-based learning.

2025 — Present Senior Fullstack Software Engineer LAUDE Tech

FSE+ platform of the European Social Fund for the Ministry of Labour. Developing REST APIs with Spring Boot and JPA within a dockerized microservices layout. Transitioning legacy frontend blocks into Angular 22. Unit and integration testing via JUnit/Mockito, code quality tracking with SonarQube, and OWASP security compliance. Providing technical mentorship to junior developers.

2024 — 2025 Senior Software Engineer Indra

Engineered concurrent systems across two distinct regional public administration programs. CRIBA-T: implemented an event-driven architecture with Kafka and Quarkus for the Valencian health screening framework, managing pipelines with Apache Camel and the global FHIR standard, deployed on OpenShift. SIDER: delivered full-stack microservices backed by MongoDB for rural grant operations under the Government of Catalonia.

2022 — 2024 Mid/Senior Fullstack Software Engineer Inetum

Acted as the sole engineer responsible for the core commercial broadcasting rights framework at Spain's national television (RTVE). Headed the complete application migration from legacy JSP/jQuery blocks to Angular 15 layout structures. Delivered full-stack services for 4 enterprise production management applications, handling full SCRUM loops and advanced business intelligence reporting with JasperReports.

2021 — 2022 Junior Fullstack Developer Seresco

Full-stack product design for the Galician agricultural sector: Xeaga (crop tracking data systems for the regional Xunta de Galicia office) and Agropres (Android application worksheets connected via a custom Spring API layer). Managed the John Deere API interface migration from OAuth 1.0 to OAuth 2.0 standards.

05 · How I Work
// 01 · Architecture

Microservices, clear contracts.

REST APIs backed by OpenAPI as strict boundary contracts between teams. Well-scoped domains, strict data validation, and standardized error responses. When the contract is solid, the system scales smoothly without surprises.

// 02 · Data

SQL is the baseline of truth.

Before writing a single line of business code, the query profile has to be correct. Oracle structures leave no room for guesswork, and that technical rigor has trained me to build environments where data layers are sacred.

// 03 · Delivery

Ship it, then iterate.

I prefer shipping robust functional solutions and polishing them live on production over chasing endless local perfection. CI/CD pipelines, trunk-based branching when possible, and fine-tuned feature flags when it isn't.

// 04 · Learning

Build > Study.

I learn best by building real software. Each side project acts as an explicit vehicle to master a alternative stack element: React, Supabase, Next.js, or the Claude API. The ultimate course is a deployment running live in production.
